Spanish shares drop 0.10 pct Tuesday

MADRID, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 0.10 percent or 9.80 points, to close at 10,234.30 points.

A total of 16 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa went down 2.31 percent, followed by Spain's energy company Iberdrola and real estate company Inmobiliaria Colonial that lost 1.66 percent and 1.19 percent respectively.

Stainless steel manufacturer Acerinox advanced 1.93 percent, being the top gainer of the blue chips. Spain's fourth largest bank Banco Sabadell was up 1.31 percent and hotel industry Melia Hotels rose 1.19 percent. Enditem
