JAKARTA, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia would announce new women's doubles pairing to start perform in the 2018 badminton calendar, aiming at increasing the chances of winning medals from the 2018 Asian Games, an Indonesian badminton coach said here on Tuesday.

Coach of Indonesian badminton women's doubles players Eng Hian said the new pairing would be picked from non-national training center players.

"They would perform early next year," he said, but reluctant to name the players.

Indonesia has seeded women's doubles players, Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu, who demonstarted positive performances throughout the year.

The duo, ranked 10th in the world, won French Open Super Series this year after trashing South Korean Lee So Hee/Shin Seung Chan in the final in Paris in October.

Besides, Indonesia's current women's doubles force includes Della Destiara Haris/Rizki Amelia Pradipta, Anggia Shitta Awanda/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istirani and Yulfira Barkah/Nitya Krishinda Maheswari. Enditem
