Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Tuesday. Equity benchmarks extended previous day's rally on Tuesday opening, with the Sensex rising more than 100 points, following positive global cues.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 33,714.17, 112.49 points or 0.37 percent up compared to its previous close at 33,601.68. Enditem
