NEW YORK, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted northeast of Visokoi Island, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Friday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 51.06 km, was initially determined to be at 56.3586 degrees south latitude and 26.7386 degrees west longitude. Enditem
