Urgent: Man threatening with knife arrested at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport

THE HAGUE, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- A man who threatened with a knife at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport was shot, arrested and taken away on Friday afternoon by the Dutch military police, reported Dutch television NOS.

The man would have smashed a window and the situation is now safe. The meeting and shopping area of the airport has been evacuated. The Dutch railway operator NS announced that no train currently stops at Schiphol for security reason. Enditem
