THE HAGUE, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- The death toll in two stabbing incidents in Dutch city of Maastricht on Thursday has risen to two as one more people confirmed dead.

Earlier, police said one people was killed and several others injured in the two stabbing incidents in Maastricht, in the southern Dutch province of Limburg.

One stabbing took place at around 9 p.m. local time at the Botsaart street in the Malpertuis district, while the second stabbing occurred a few hundred meters away at the Joseph Postme street in the Caberg district, newspaper De Limburger reports.

Police did not find out yet if there is a connection between the two incidents. Both crime locations are being investigated by the police. Enditem
