U.S. dollar falls against other major currencies

NEW YORK, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar slipped against other major currencies on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve raised the benchmark interest rates as widely expected.

In late New York trading, the euro increased to 1.1789 dollars from 1.1739 dollars, while the dollar bought 112.83 Japanese yen, lower than 113.55 yen in the previous session. Enditem
