HONG KONG -- The government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Wednesday held an official memorial ceremony to commemorate the victims who died in the Nanjing Massacre and those who were killed during the Japanese invasion.

The ceremony was held at the Redoubt Courtyard of the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence on Wednesday morning. After playing the National Anthem, the host read the eulogy:"We gather here today to commemorate the victims who died in Nanjing Massacre." (HK-Nanjing Massacre)

TOKYO -- The Hiroshima High Court on Wednesday ordered the suspension of a nuclear reactor at the Ikata power plant in Ehime Prefecture, western Japan.

The high court revoked a lower court decision in the first such resolution on injunctions filed with other local courts looking to halt the No. 3 reactor at the Ikata power plant. (Japan-Nuclear Plant-Reactor)

SEOUL -- South Korea's presidential Blue House said on Wednesday that U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's remarks re-emphasized the U.S. position to encourage the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to return to a dialogue table.

Presidential spokesman Park Soo-hyun said in a statement that Tillerson's remarks were assessed to have stressed the U.S. position again that urged the DPRK to stop provocation and threat and return to a dialogue table. (South Korea-DPRK-Dialogue)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen reiterated Wednesday that the 2018 national election result does not need recognition from the international community to be valid.

"Under the Cambodian Constitution, it (the election result) does not require endorsement from presidents of other countries or from the United Nations secretary general to be legitimate," he said in a speech during a get-together with some 15,000 garment factory workers in northern Phnom Penh suburb. NEW DELHI -- A special court in the Indian capital Wednesday held four people, including a former chief minister of Jharkhand state, guilty in a multi-billion-dollar coal scam case.
