Chinese shares close lower Tuesday

BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed lower Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.25 percent to 3,280.81 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.9 percent lower at 11,043.21. Enditem
