TIRANA, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Albania and Montenegro are willing to advance cooperation in all areas and also organize a joint meeting of two governments, Albanian President Ilir Meta and his visiting Montenegrin counterpart Filip Vujanovic told a joint press conference here Monday.

The two presidents agreed that both countries have great potential to concretize the very good cooperation that exists between Albania and Montenegro.

"We are two countries that provide an excellent role model with one border crossing which we will make efforts to extend to other borders as well," the Montenegrin president said.

On his part, President Meta said that Albania and Montenegro provided an excellent example of cross-border cooperation in the region that was set to continue in the future.

"Our governments' commitment will continue in the frame of Berlin Process and other initiatives that aim at improving cooperation and connectivity among all countries in the region," Meta said at the joint press conference.

Further, President Vujanovic said that Albania and Montenegro had no pending issues while he praised Albania's move to adopt the law on national minorities.
