NEW YORK, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted 109km WNW of Iquique, Chile at 19:00:55 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 8.58 km, was initially determined to be at 19.73 degrees south latitude and 71.06 degrees west longitude. Enditem
