Uganda misses out on 2018 CAF Confederations Cup

KAMPALA, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Uganda has missed a chance to have a representative for the 2018 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederations Cup.

Edgar Suubi Watson, the Uganda FA Chief Executive Officer told Xinhua on Saturday that Paidha Black Angels who qualified to represent the country opted out because they are not financial strong.

"We gave the opportunity to SC Villa and Vipers SC to represent the country but they also turned it down," explained Watson. Enditem
