Red Star beat Turkish Efes 100-81 in Euroleague

BELGRADE, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Serbian Red Star convincingly beat Efes in the 11th round of the regular season of the basketball Euroleague by 100-81 in Belgrade on Friday.

The home team took the initiative in the first quarter that it won by 29-23, and managed to expand it until the end of the game with precise shots and good defence.

James Feldeine shined in the Red Star team with 29 points alongside Rochestie Taylor who scored 11 points and added 6 assists, while Bryant Dunston was the best in the Turkish team with 16 points.

Efes are now 14th in the rankings, while Red Star 12th.

Next week Red Star will travel to Spain to play against Valencia, while Efes will host Baskonia. Enditem
