U.S. dollar rises against most major currencies

NEW YORK, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar rose against most major currencies Wednesday, as investors mainly focused on the newly-released economic data.

In late New York trading, the euro decreased to 1.1794 dollars from 1.1815 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 112.26 Japanese yen, lower than 112.59 yen of the previous session. Enditem
