All Muslims angry with U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital: Islamic organ

Xinhua,December 07, 2017 Adjust font size:

RABAT, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) warned Wednesday against the disastrous implications over U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital.

The U.S. President Donald Trump announced Wednesday recognition of Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel, and instructed the State Department to begin the process of moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The organization stated in a statement that such step will trigger angry reactions from Muslims who consider it as a provocation of their religious sentiments and a total bias in favor of the occupation in Palestinian territories. Enditem
