UAE warship docks at Port Sudan for joint military exercise

PORT SUDAN, Sudan, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- A United Arab Emirates (UAE) warship on Wednesday docked at Port Sudan Naval Base in eastern Sudan to take part in a military exercise between Sudanese and UAE armies.

Sudanese military officials received the UAE's warship Jabal Ali 5, as the joint military exercise dubbed "Coasts Heros 1" is scheduled to be launched on Friday.

The exercise is the first of its kind within the framework of joint military cooperation protocols signed between Sudan and the UAE including training and exchange of experiences. Enditem
