JAKARTA, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Youth and sport ministry of Indonesia has cooperated with the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) to train the country's trainers for disable athletes who will vie in the Asian Para Games 2018, a senior official disclosed on Wednesday.

Senior official at the ministry Marheni Dyah said that the move is expected to strengthen competence of the trainers which is expected to positively contribute to the achievement of athletes in the sport event.

"This is a commitment of the ministry in supporting development of sport for disable athletes, boosting achievement of the athletes in international sport events," the official said.

"In the past we championed ASEAN Para Games in Malaysia, going forward, we hope to get the best achievement in the Asian Para Games. Certainly the opponents are tougher, the trainers must settle this problem," said Dyah.
