1 dead, 4 missing after fishing vessel capsizes in Myanmar waters

YANGON, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- One people died and four others were missing in Tuesday's fishing vessel mishap off Myanmar's southwestern coast of Ayeyawaddy region, the Home Affairs Ministry said on Wednesday.

Out of 19 people aboard, 14 people have been rescued so far by a military vessel, and the search and rescue operations for the missing ones were underway, the ministry said in a statement.

The Shwe Pinle (Golden Sea)-157 fishing vessel capsized at sea, 72 km from Phyar Pone town in Pathein district at 6:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday (2330 GMT Monday). Enditem
