Dollar changes hands in mid-112 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

TOKYO, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-112 yen zone early Tuesday in Tokyo.

At 9:00 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.51-52 yen compared with 112.37-47 yen in New York and 112.99-113.00 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.1868-1868 dollars and 133.52-53 yen against 1.1861-1871 dollars and 133.32-42 yen in New York and 1.1849-1850 dollars and 133.89-93 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Enditem
