Gov't building in U.S. state of Illinois evacuated over bomb threat: report

CHICAGO, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- The state capitol building of the midwest U.S. state of Illinois was evacuated Monday afternoon due to a bomb threat, local media reported.

The State Capitol Tour Guide Office received a threatening call which forced the police to evacuate the building, a spokesman for the Illinois Secretary of State said. But no further details are released.

Police said no people are allowed to re-enter the building until an all-clear notice is issued Monday evening. Enditem
