Morocco king appoints new top military commander

RABAT, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's King Mohammed VI appointed on Monday major general Mohamed Haramou as commander of the royal gendarmerie.

Haramou is the current commander of the royal gendarmerie's honour squadron grouping.

The appointment comes only few months after the king named Abdelfatah Louarak as inspector general of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) to replace general Bouchaib Arroub. Enditem
