LUSAKA, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Monday.

--Zambia's central bank has projected low inflationary pressures over the next eight quarters.

Bank of Zambia (BoZ) Governor Caleb Fundanga low inflation pressures were projected over the next eight quarters with inflation forecast to remain as low as targeted in 2019. (Zambia Daily Mail)

--The Zambian government is this week expected to lift the ban on night movement by trucks.

Minister of Finance Felix Mutati said the decision to lift the ban, which only applies to trucks and not public passenger buses, was aimed at boosting the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by allowing continuous movement of goods across the country. (Times of Zambia)

--About eight potential German investors are expected in Zambia in the next coming weeks to explore investment opportunities in the country's energy sector.

The Zambian embassy in Germany said the investors have expressed interest to explore investment opportunities in Zambia's energy sector following the removal of subsidies. (Daily Nation)

--Public workers in eastern Zambia's Chadiza district are allegedly refusing to have their houses sprayed in an on-going indoor residual spraying exercise as part of efforts to fight malaria.

District Commissioner George Phiri said it was unfortunate that public workers who were more learned were resisting the exercise, adding that out of 700 households in suburbs where public workers lived, only 300 opened up to have their homes sprayed. (The Mast) Enditem
