NEW YORK, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Central Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 16:50:28 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 9.8493 degrees north latitude and 40.6351 degrees west longitude. Enditem
