Man killed in quarrel in U.S. city of Detroit

WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- A man was shot and killed inside a hotel in Detroit in U.S. state of Michigan early Saturday, local police said.

Police said the victim, in his 20s, was shot at around 4:00 a.m. at the Greektown Casino Hotel.

The man and the suspect were reportedly inside a room on the hotel when an argument started and led to a fight.

The suspect brought out a gun and shot the victim, according to police. The victim was taken to a hospital where he died of the gunshot injury.

The suspect, 28, was taken into custody and is being held at a local detention center. Enditem
