Jilin City enjoys 6-game winning streak in VHL ice hockey

CHANGCHUN, China, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- China's Jilin City ice hockey team won its sixth straight game, beating Russian Samarra team 3-2 in the 30th round of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL) here on Friday.

Alexander and Denis scored one goal apiece for Jilin to take a 2-0 lead before the Russian cut the deficit to 2-1. Negarai then relarged the lead to 3-1.

"It's lucky to win the game and the process is full of difficulties. Thanks to my players, especially the goalkeeper to dissolve the danger many times," said Beldnikov Sergei, the Russian coach of Jilin City team. Enditem
