Tokyo shares ends morning session lower on losses in high-tech shares

TOKYO, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo shares fell slightly Thursday morning tracking losses of high-tech shares on Wall Street overnight.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average shed 21.80 points, or 0.10 percent, from Wednesday to 22,575.40.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 2.87 points, or 0.16 percent, to 1,783.28.

Decliners were led by electric appliance, precision instrument and machinery issues. Enditem
