Spain's consumer prices rise 1.6 pct in Nov.

MADRID, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Spain's consumer prices rose by 1.6 percent in November when compared with the same month of a year earlier, according to advanced data of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published by Spain's Statistical Office on Wednesday.

According to the INE, the figure was affected by rises in prices of fuel and gasoline, although the INE will provide a more detailed description of the evolution of prices on Dec. 14.

Spain's consumer prices have been rising for 15 months year-on-year, after having registered negative rates for eight months.

The INE also reported that on a month-to-month basis, Spain's prices rose by 0.4 percent from October to November. Enditem
