British stocks down 0.90 pct Wednesday

LONDON, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.90 percent, or 67.09 points, to close at 7,393.56 points.

Next, a British clothing and home products retailer, soared 4.38 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Kingfisher and Royal Bank of Scotland Group increased by 4.18 percent and 3.83 percent, respectively.

The major multinational metal company Randgold Resources was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 5.98 percent. Sage Group, a British software company, dropped 3.89 percent. Fresnillo, an international mining group dropped 3.62 percent. Enditem
