Chicago agricultural commodities open mixed

CHICAGO, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities opened mixed Wednesday in morning trading, with soybean futures lower and wheat futures slightly higher.

The volume of trade has been rather average with spreading out of long December contracts ongoing ahead of first notice day on Thursday.

January soybeans were down 3.25 cents at 9.8975 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1430 GMT in the morning trading, March corn was unchanged at 3.4975 dollars, while March wheat was up 1.25 cents at 4.305 dollars.

As for other major exporters, the Argentine weather forecast is drier with a storm system on the weekend looking much weaker this morning.

Regular rains will drop across North and Central Brazil with rainfall totals of 2 to 6 inches. The rains will maintain favorable growing conditions across most area of North Brazil.

In world agricultural markets, December Paris wheat futures are up 0.75 euro at 157.5 euros (about 187 U.S. dollars) per tonne. China's Dalian corn futures settled higher with May futures at 6.815 U.S. dollars per bushel. Enditem
