China "seriously concerned" about DPRK missile test

BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- China said on Wednesday it was seriously concerned about and opposed to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) test-firing of a newly developed Intercontinental Ballistic Missile.

"China strongly demands the DPRK abide by the UN Security Council resolutions and refrain from actions that heighten the tension on the Korean Peninsula," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said at a regular news briefing. Enditem
