CHICAGO, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities opened mixed Tuesday in morning trading, as the summer row crops continue to sag, while the wheat market has found support on the final set of National Agricultural Statistics Service crop condition ratings for new crop U.S. wheat in 2017.
January soybeans were down 4 cents at 9.92 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1430 GMT in the morning trading, March corn was down 1.75 cents at 3.5 dollars, while March wheat was unchanged at 4.2825 dollars.
Half of the U.S. winter wheat crop was rated good or excellent, down 2 percent from the prior week and 8 percent less than last year. Conditions continued to deteriorate in the Plains due to warm and dry weather.
As for other major exporters, the Argentine weather forecast is similar to the midday forecast yesterday in that 60-65 percent of the Argentine crop areas will enjoy rain from two slow moving storm systems in the next 5 days.
Regular rains look to drop across North and Central Brazil with dryness continuing to worsen across South Brazil. Limited rains are foreseen for southern states for the next 2 weeks.
In world agricultural markets, December Paris wheat futures are down 0.25 euro at 156.5 euros per tonne. Malaysian palm oil futures fell 1 ringgit to 2,550 ringgits per tonne. China's Dalian soy meal and corn futures were little changed in modest volume. Enditem
