U.S. federal and Los Angeles law enforcement agencies launched one of the largest-ever raids against the international crime organization M-13 here Wednesday, netting 21 important members of the gang.

WARSAW -- The search and rescue operation following an explosion at a gunpowder factory in Makolno, central Poland ended on Wednesday evening. Two were killed and 15 injured in the blast.

KUNDUZ, Afghanistan -- Up to 10 militants including a group commander have been confirmed dead after Afghan security forces aircrafts targeted a Taliban hideout in Qala-e-Zal district of the northern Kunduz province early Thursday, district governor Mahboubullah Sayedi said.

The government forces aircrafts, according to the official, targeted Taliban hideout in Chargul Tapa locality Thursday morning, killing 10 insurgent including Taliban group commander Qari Nematullah on the spot and injuring several others. (Afghanistan-Airstrikes) Endi
