U.S. stocks tank amid concerns over Trump

U.S. stocks traded sharply lower on Wednesday, with all three major indices dropping over one percent, as investors feared that turmoil in Washington would weigh on the market and U.S. President Trump's reform agenda could be slowed down.

At midday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 235.55 points, or 1.12 percent, to 20,744.20. The S&P 500 lost 24.92 points, or 1.04 percent, to 2,375.75. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 97.70 points, or 1.58 percent, to 6,072.17. Enditem
