-- Kenyans will now have relief on the cost of maize flour, following the government's move to subsidise the price of the staple to 0.90 U.S. dollars per 2-kg packet.

About 30,000 tonnes of maize have so far been imported to address the shortage, with an additional consignment expected in a fortnight. (Daily Nation)
