Xinhua, May 16, 2017 Adjust font size:

A worker was hit by thunder and died on Monday in Gradacac, a city some 20 km north of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)'s capital Sarajevo, local media reported on Tuesday.

The body of the deceased was transported to the Health Center, and employees of Police Department Gradacac are currently investigating the circumstances of his death.

The area of Gradacac was affected by the severe weather. The heavy rain left several houses flooded in Sarajevo and traffic was suspended on several sections due to flooding. The area of Ljubinje, 180 km south of Sarajevo, was hit the hardest, destroying fruits, vegetables and tobacco crop. Enditem
