Seoul shares end higher

Seoul shares ended higher on Tuesday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) gained 4.68 points, or 0.2 percent, to settle at 2,295.33. Trading volume stood at 360.3 million shares worth 6.03 trillion won (5.4 billion U.S. dollars).

South Korea's currency finished at 1,116.0 won against the greenback, up 7.6 won from the previous close. Endit
