(BRF) Spouses of Belt and Road Forum leaders visit Palace Museum

Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, invited the partners of leaders attending the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation to the Palace Museum in Beijing on Monday.

The visitors took part in a group photo in front of the Hall of Supreme Harmony, and listened to a brief history of the Palace Museum and visited an exhibition featuring antiques associated with ancient trade routes.

Later in a garden of the Palace Museum, an exhibition area displayed Beijing's intangible cultural heritage programs, and the guests enjoyed some traditional Chinese artistic performances.

Peng expressed her wish that the guests would be part of more fruitful exchanges and cooperation between China and their home countries. Endi
