Chinese shares open higher Monday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.08 percent at 3,085.93 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component index opened 0.25 percent higher at 9,812.38 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.2 percent to open at 1,778.18 points. Endi
