Xinhua, May 12, 2017 Adjust font size:

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and his Slovenian counterpart, Miro Cerar, on Friday exchanged congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

In his message, Li said that since the establishment of diplomatic ties, the two countries have witnessed more frequent high-level exchanges, ever deepening political mutual trust and rapidly expanding practical cooperation and people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

Fruitful achievements have been made in the above-mentioned fields, and cooperation has broad prospects, said Li.

China is willing to work with Slovenia to strengthen the synergy of their development strategies and policy coordination, deepen exchanges and cooperation at different levels and in various fields, so as to push forward bilateral relations, Li said.

Cerar said Slovenia has already set up a sound relationship of cooperation with China.

Slovenia highly appreciates the Belt and Road Initiative and the cooperation mechanism between China and Central and Eastern European countries, he said, adding that his country is ready to continue all-around cooperation with China. Endi
