Hong Kong stocks closed up 311.12 points, or 1.27 percent, to 24,889.03 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 24,548.97 and 24,889.83. Turnover totaled 71.05 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.13 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
