British FTSE 100 rises 0.05 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday rose by 0.05 percent, or 3.43 points, to 7,300.86 points.

Share price of Intu Properties increased by 2.15 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Paddy Power Betfair, easyJet, Centrica and Next increased by 2.10 percent, 2.06 percent, 1.86 percent and 1.84 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.04 percent, following by Antofagasta (2.02 percent), Smiths Group (1.90 percent), ConvaTec Group (1.86 percent) and Mondi (1.76 percent). Endit
