5 killed in traffic accident in northern France: report

Five people were killed, among them two children, on Saturday in a car crash in northern department of Pas de Calais in France, a local newspaper reported.

The accident happened at 17:30 local time (1530 GMT) when a three-vehicle collision occurred in northern region of Radinghem, in which five people died, La Voix du Nord reported.

According to preliminary information received by the newspaper, a driver lost control of his vehicle and rammed into two other cars coming from the opposite direction.

In addition, two people were injured in the accident, including a child who suffered severe wounds, it added. Endit
