-- Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has apologized to voters that boycotted the 2016 local government elections to teach the African National Congress (ANC) a lesson.

"People that stayed away from voting for us in 2016 because the ANC must listen, we must listen to what our people are saying. Because if we do not listen, we will lose," he said on Friday.(News24)

-- African National Congress (ANC) Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has condemned corruption within the party and blamed it for the slow pace in the fight against unemployment in the country.

Ramaphosa said on Friday the party should deal with dishonest members and those who steal from the poor.(Eyewitness News)
