Peru duo helps Flamengo sink Universidad Catolica

Peru internationals Miguel Trauco and Paolo Guerrero scored late to help Brazilian giants Flamengo to a 3-1 victory over Chile's Universidad Catolica in their Copa Libertadores group match here on Wednesday.
Rodinei gave the hosts an early lead at the Maracana stadium before veteran Uruguay forward Santiago Silva struck a 67th minute equalizer.
The result handed Flamengo a two-point buffer at the top of group D with nine points while Universidad were left in fourth place with five points.
Also in Brazil, Argentina's San Lorenzo kept alive their hopes of progressing to the knockout phase with a 3-0 victory over Atletico Paranaense.
Paulo Diaz netted in the first half before Nicolas Blandi and Ruben Botta scored after halftime at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba.
Ecuador international midfielder Juan Cazares scored twice as Brazil's Atletico Mineiro romped to a 5-1 away victory over Bolivia's Sport Boys Warnes.
Former Brazil international midfielder Elias was also on the scoresheet for the visitors, as was Rafael Moura and Romulo Otero. Veteran forward Jose Castillo was on target for the hosts.
In the Bolivian city of Cochabamba, hosts Jorge Wilstermann overcame Brazil Palmeiras 3-2 thanks to goals from Omar Morales, Christian Machado and Rudy Cardozo. Alejandro Guerra scored for the visitors while Luis Cabezas netted an own goal.
And Chile's Deportes Iquique came from behind to secure a 2-1 home victory over Brazilian outfit Gremio. Paraguay international striker Lucas Barrios opened the scoring for Gremio before Diego Bielkiewicz and Diego Torres struck for the hosts. Endit
