Indian markets open higher

The Indian markets opened moderately higher Wednesday despite mixed Asian cues. Investors awaited the outcome of a two-day Federal Reserve Policy meeting due later in the day.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 29.996.81, 75.63 points or 0.25 percent up compared to its previous close at 29,921.18. Endit
