Chinese shares close mixed Tuesday

Chinese stocks closed mixed Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.35 percent to end the day at 3,143.71 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.1 percent lower at 10,223.97 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, ended 0.01 percent higher to close at 1,850.85 points. Endi
