Chinese team ranks 5th at international volleyball tournament in Vietnam

Beating a Vietnamese squad 3-0 on Sunday, China's Fujian team finished 5th at the international women's volleyball tournament in Vietnam's southern Tay Ninh province.

The Fujian team with two Olympic gold medalists, Lin Li and Xu Yunlin, whitewashed Vietnam's Vietinbank team 3-0 with the scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-22.

Also on Sunday, Vietnam's VTV Binh Dien Long An downed the 4.25 Club from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) 3-0 with the scores of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-21 in the tournament's final match.

The tournament, called VTV Binh Dien Cup 2017, took place from April 22-30, with the participation of eight teams from China, Kazakhstan, the DPRK, Thailand and Vietnam. Enditem
