A Cuban military plane crashed Saturday morning in the western province of Artemisa, killing eight members of the military on board, state media said.

The plane, belonging to Cuba's Revolutionary Armed Forces, crashed into a mountain, just west of the capital Havana, in the province of Artemisa.

BOGOTA -- The death toll from a collapsed building that was under construction in Cartagena, Colombia, continued to climb as rescue workers sifted through the rubble.

JAKARTA -- At least five people had been killed and three others seriously injured when flash floods struck Magelang regency in Central Java province of western Indonesia, an official said on Saturday evening.

RABAT -- Three people were killed and four others were injured Saturday in a fire caused by cellphone charger in the central Moroccan city of Azilal.
