World champion Soldatova leads in Rhythmic Gymnastics WC

World and European champion Aleksandra Soldatova of Russia is to face challenge from Spain, Bulgaria and Belarus at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup.

The three-day event, which also features European bronze medalist Nicol Zelikman of Israel, kicked off on Friday with hoop and ball individuals as well as group five hoops qualification rounds.

92 gymnasts from 19 countries will compete for 8 titles of ball, ribbon, hoop and clubs individuals, group all-around and apparatus (five hoops, three balls and two ropes). Endit
