Chinese shares close higher Friday

Chinese stocks closed higher Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.08 percent to end the day at 3,154.66 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.05 percent higher at 10,234.65 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, ended 0.42 percent higher to close at 1,850.73 points. Endi
